Idaho Firefighter Killer Identified: Rumors Swirl

What seems likely is that the murderer had Antifa sympathies.

As with most high-profile killings, law enforcement and the media are terrible at providing clear information, especially when it doesn't fit a desired narrative.

We can't say for sure yet what the motives were of 20-year-old Wess Roley, who killed two firefighters in Idaho. But here's one analysis from an X user:

The suspect in the sh00ting that k*lled two Idaho firefighters and injured another is 20-year-old Wess Roley.

- He has a prior arrest for as*ault in 2024. This incident involved him allegedly attacking a woman with a knife, for which he was charged with felony as*ault with a d*adly weapon. He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor as*ault, receiving a sentence of 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended. He was also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and complete anger management classes.

- Roley's social media activity, particularly on X, revealed disturbing content. He posted about his disdain for authority figures, including police and firefighters, and expressed radical views. His posts included threats and general hostility toward society, which raised concerns among those who followed him. Additionally, he was known to have made threats against his family, leading to a no-contact order being issued against him.

I will add to this thread as I discover more info. I will NOT be posting about his family unless it’s a concern and need-to-know for the public.

This post is a little irritating as she conveniently leaves out what the alleged social media accounts of Roley were, and I was unable to find them via search or Grok AI.

What she is also leaving out is that Roley's parents are allegedly MAGA, which actually would lend credence to the kid rebelling full-blown Antifa style. How many kids of MAGA parents are also MAGA? I bet if we did a study, most would be anti-MAGA. Not because MAGA parents are inherently terrible, but because schools are biased and kids rebel against parents.

Unfortunately, this killing seems to have been stirred up by anti-law enforcement sentiment, which is a hallmark of Antifa and it's ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards) slogan. Antifa has been sieging ICE for weeks. While I cannot say for sure, I would tend to think this might have motivated Roley, at least in part.

The left, however, completely unaware and unable to self-reflect and take any responsibility, are claiming that the MAGA parents and/or the Idaho location must mean that Roley was right-wing nutjob or Ruby Ridge style "white supremacist." Unlikely, if some of these pictures of a tanned Roley are accurate.

There is also speculation from the right that Roley was trans, but I find zero evidence of that other than Roley being what gay men would call a "twink" - an effeminate young male who hasn't grown into his "man face" yet.

My take? The violent anti-law enforcement rhetoric of the far-left is putting our first responders in harm's way.

NBC News reports that Roley’s grandfather claims that his grandson “loved firefighters”:

The attack stunned some members of Roley's family — who said he had dreams of becoming a firefighter himself — as his name began circulating in news reports Monday, and they initially thought he could have been at the scene as a volunteer.

Roley's grandfather told NBC News that "something must have snapped" for his grandson to have committed such violence, particularly against firefighters.

"He actually really respected law enforcement," Dale Roley said. "He loved firefighters. It didn't make sense that he was shooting firefighters. Maybe he got rejected or something."

Dale Roley said his grandson, who attended high school in Phoenix, where his mother lives, lived with him in Oklahoma for several months before he moved to Idaho last summer to be closer to his father.

Assuming that Roley actually was the shooter on face value, and not a patsy…this doesn’t change my analysis that much. It’s not clear here whether Grandpa is assuming Roley still loves firefighters after loving them as a kid…and meanwhile young Wess is getting involved with radical groups online. You think kids are honest with their grandparents?

At best, even as a good kid, I always put my best face forward to my grandparents. If they were still alive today I’d be hoping they’d think I was still a virgin. What about you?
