I don’t think the demographic is protrans, even if they have TDS. They are mostly TERFS when you talk to them. They were vilified by the millennial pro-trans nuts.

Same on leaving the Democratic party. Had to. The numbers I've been able to dig into look to be about 3.5 to 4 million based on police count, emergency count, averages for big and small cities. Not even the NYT will write anything above 5 million. The insanely stupid 11 million number is being claimed by the organizers. They are lying like dogs. The generation after the hippie boomers is mine. GenX is the generation that has the most Trump voters and we have no money to donate thanks to the wealthiest generation aka the protestors. I live in an extremely integrated area. We don't just talk about diversity. We live in it every day. Minorities' support for Trump is high here.

"P.S. I should note here that I am not actually a Republican. I am an independent who left the Democratic Party because it went insane."

You and me both, brother.

Great points re: midterms and long term. 'Demographics are destiny' seems dead. It didn't help our former party that they decided demographics can change if someone 'feels like it'.

One of my biggest issues (although, it seems to change with the weekly missteps of both character and action) with Dems was their weird abandonment of the working class while clinging to the Teacher's Union (who couldn't care less about this nation's children). Dems lost the working class voter for the foreseeable future.

I should have said, 'You and me, sister' force of habit. My apologies.
