Taylor Swift Promotes Toxic Land Acknowledgment to Undermine Western Countries

Don't be fooled: The real purpose of land acknowledgment is division and destabilization.

Taylor Swift has proven she’s a tool for the global elite with her latest “feel good” PR stunt: Posting massive “land acknowledgments” on screens during her Eras tour concerts.

I put “feel good” in quotes, because there is nothing “feel good” about land acknowledgments. They are the latest virtue signaling trend among the woke, designed to pick at old scabs and create new wounds to keep the division mill running.

What exactly is a land acknowledgment? It’s a self-effacing ritual of performative self-flagellation, primarily promoted by woke women, to “acknowledge” that any land they happen to be standing on is actually indigenous land.

In Swift’s Toronto show, here is what her land acknowledgement said:

“We acknowledge that we are performing today at Rogers Centre, located on Treaty 13 lands — traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional home of many other nations including the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Chippewa, and Wendat peoples. We acknowledge the First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples whose original and treaty territories we stand upon.”

The land acknowledgment is entirely performative, because it rarely comes with any action to return the land - although that’s certainly in the cards, as I’ll explain below.

We’ll note here that hypocrite Taylor Swift owns multiple multi-million dollar properties. She’s never given back any of her “stolen land” to the indigenous.

We should also note the mishmash of native nations that are included on the Toronto land acknowledgment. The Rogers Centre is a large stadium at 339,343 square feet. But seriously, Swift wants us to know that a total of...seven indigenous nations have a claim there? Doesn’t that speak to the reality that Native Americans¹ often battled each other over the land?

The average woke person, however, seems to care little for independent research. They also don’t understand basic human nature, preferring to overlay a particularly racist and harsh vision onto Western countries, as if they were the only ones who ever warred or took over land from other people.

Akin to the “Magical Negro” trope, the myth of the “Noble Savage” is a reverse form of racism that romanticizes indigenous peoples by depicting them as all wise and gentle, as in the Disney version of Pocahontas. Disney’s Pocahontas also ironically scoffed at the idea of anyone “owning” land, which completely nullifies the entire foundation of a land acknowledgment. From her song, “Colors of the Wind”:

You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim

Based on this philosophy, Native Americans shouldn’t try to “own” the living land either.

Then there is the question of who really was first?

How far back should we go with a land acknowledgment? Should we be posting signs across Europe saying “Neanderthals were here first, and we annihilated them, WE’RE SORRY!”?

In Gaza, should Israelis start posting their own land acknowledgments? Something along the lines of “I know you think you were here first, but Islam wasn’t even a thing when Jerusalem was built, and Gaza was part of Judea...you know, JEWdea? So GTFO!” I mean, some Israelis may actually think this, but for some bizarre reason, the current woke-favored land acknowledgment in Israel/Gaza seems to be more tilted towards the side with more tanned skin.

As we can see from the current Israeli conflict, who really has rights to a land can get sticky, and if we buy the idea of land acknowledgments, then it’s “whoever was there first” who owns it. This could end up becoming a bottomless pit, as archeologists dig up more evidence about who was earlier than the known earliest. It’s a ridiculous proposition.

In reality, no-one who was “there first” is around today, because they are all dead.

No one group has a right to land just because people they are distantly related to once held it. It’s that bad idea of ancestral land ownership that caused the whole problem in the Middle East in the first place.

So what’s the real purpose of a land acknowledgment?

Land acknowledgments are an intentionally toxic and divisive form of wokeness that are designed to stir up bad feelings - feelings of guilt on one side, in people who had zero to do with past invasions, and feelings of anger on the other.

Make no mistake. These bad feelings are being stirred up intentionally.

I started seeing land acknowledgments in the past year. Like the swift shift from “equality” to “equity” during the latter years of the Obama administration, bad woke ideas take off like wildfire and are soon cemented into the brainwashed through force of repetition.

This is what Taylor Swift has done here. And if you think this is the only form of programming she has done in her concerts, think again. There’s a reason why “Swiftnesia” - amnesia suffered during her concerts - is a thing. Don’t let your girls go to her concerts. You might as well trot them off to the local Manchurian Candidate brainwashing center.

So what’s the end game of land acknowledgments? Well, let’s look at what usually follows an acknowledgment.

Step one is to acknowledge the problem, right?

What might naturally follow as step two?

Action, right? Something to “fix” the problem.

Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist all you want, but I believe “step two,” in conjunction with flooding Western countries with immigrants, would be to deny the rights of Western countries to exist. If you can cement that idea into enough gullible young people, replacing “outdated” nation states “built on racism and genocide” with a shiny new totalitarian global government is easy.

In short, Taylor Swift is enabling the complete and total destruction of Western democracy.
