I guess I'm lucky. My baby boomer aunt is actually a staunch conservative, but rabidly so. Republicans can do no wrong in her book, so it's the other side of the coin, just more tolerable lol.

My sister, and we are borderline Baby Boomers. I literally cannot talk to her anymore. I feel like she's completely lost her mind. Sometimes, I will send screen shots of her text rants to my own (adult) children, and we will collectively shake our heads in wonder at how an educated, otherwise intelligent person can have come so far off the rails.

I don't think this is just a baby boomer issue. I think the well educated children have been indoctrinated too. It feels like the population of civic minded, hard working people is slipping far far away
Here is one baby boomer who is on your page. However, my 2 children are entirely brainwashed, with one being a self-declared socialist (communist). I can't get through to her. She lives more like a capitalist than anyone else I know! The other one buys into the George Floyd narrative but seems to be thinking a little more. Who knows? Dialogue has stopped, sadly.
