I love music. Absolutely love it - always have it playing during my days and nights. All my life, I have looked up to various musicians for what I perceived to be their great views on society - rebellious, peace seeking, and generally not afraid to speak their mind. And then came the last five years. Just about every single one of them (well, the ones who are still alive) proved themselves to be exactly what you have brilliantly written about here : hypocrites. I did similar searches as you did. I was repeatedly let down. Very synonymous to my friends and family : people who I thought had great intelligence were completely duped by what seemed so obvious to me. I’m thankful for people like you who so eloquently write. Keep speaking the truth to these wokesters. I’m hopeful we can awaken some of them
